ABOUT ME

Bob Huddleston is a thirty three year veteran of the Casa Grande Police Department. He has lived in Casa Grande since 1966, attended grade school and High School in Casa Grande, and is proud to call Casa Grande his home town. Bob is married to Doria Garza who has been involved in real estate in Casa Grande for over thirty years. Bob and Doria live in the Villago subdivision.

Bob started his career with the Police Department in 1980 as a patrol officer; he became a Detective in 1983, and was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 1986. He was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in 1989 and was placed in charge of the Patrol Division. In 1998 he was made Acting Chief of Police, and in 1999, after a National recruitment and testing process was promoted to the Rank of Chief of Police. He held that position until his retirement in 2013. To date, he is the longest serving Police Chief in the Department’s history.

Bob Huddleston led the Department for over fourteen years with a very strong focus on Community Policing; a concept that incorporates the involvement of the citizens of the community, developing partnerships with those that the Department serves.

Bob Huddleston has served as a Board Member on the Arizona Criminal Justice Commission. He has served for eleven years on the Board of Directors of Horizon Health and Wellness, and is now serving as their Board Secretary. Bob also served many years as a board member and past president of the Pinal County Law Enforcement Association. Bob also served several years with the Mayor’s Reading Club, visiting all Casa Grande Elementary Schools to read to children and talk about Public Safety.

Currently retired from Law Enforcement, Bob now serves as a Judge Protem in the Pinal County Justice Court system.
